Mom is far too busy entertaining her friends at the moment to tell us about her plans. I assure you, something will be up here in the next week or I’ll have her sit through a 12 hour marathon of Tyler Perry movies. She knows this. And you’re my witness.


The Julia Child quote in the About page is a perfect description of my plan. Right now, I am sticking to 1200 calories a day and trying to cut back on simple carbs and processed foods. Aside from my superficial ways, I’d like to be healthy too and live longer. I’m 25 now and I haven’t even done half the things I want to do! 

Despite what my photos say, I do enjoy working out. But I’m a lazy bum. It’s hard to drag myself to the gym. Once I’m there, I can get in a workout. I’ve recently started going to HIIT classes. That’s High Intensity Interval Training. I won’t tell you where, I don’t welcome stalkers. But it’s an amazing way to work out and see results fast. I can actually sprint now! Anyway, the plan for now is to take 2 HIIT classes a week and in addition, a minimum of 2 other workouts weekly. I hate going to the gym but have found yoga and bike riding to be a great alternative.

I’m lucky that I love vegetables, among other things. I intend to eat a ton of these a day as well as fruit and nuts. I’m a borderline vegetarian. I don’t like most meats but I like fish. Also, I’m trying to cut out diet soda from my life. This will be the hardest thing for me, surprisingly.

Summary: 4-5 Workouts a week including 2 HIIT sessions, 1200 calories a day, Limited sugar and processed foods, 4-5 small meals daily
